All the artists in the exhibition make artwork that relies on metaphor and narrative elements to create sociopolitical, satirical, and psychological journeys. All are influenced by narratives and characters found in mythology, folklore, and their lives.

The works record and document very different and specific times or places of each artist’s devising. The work suggests the selfish motives that lurk beneath socially acceptable behavior and references the surface qualities and rich graphic aesthetic history of storytelling in printmaking.
